James Paxman, our Chief Executive, found this sad roadkill on the Princetown to Two Bridges road on Tuesday morning.

He had seen it on Monday afternoon in the torrential rain and it was still there on Tuesday morning so he stopped to take this picture. The nearest river is the Black-a-brook so it seems reasonable to assume it had come from there, though why it was several hundred yards up the road is an interesting question. I suppose the only positive aspect of this is that it confirms that there are otters in the area.
