DPA at Bowerman's NoseSaturday’s walk around Hound Tor and Bowerman’s Nose was well supported (21 people), mainly due to the weather!

We had lunch at Bowerman’s Nose. We saw the Duke of Somerset stones, Hound Tor medieval village and another Hound Tor site which the survey team will be working on later in the spring, as well as Bowerman’s Nose, the Black Hill cairns surveyed and restored a few years back and many other historic and prehistoric features.

Spring is on its way – we heard and saw a lot of singing skylarks, a pair of stonechats and also a couple of singing yellowhammers.
