Following the announcement by the Prime Minister and his medical team regarding the avoidance of non-essential contact and travel, we have taken the decision to reduce DPA office staffing levels. Until further notice, therefore, we will only be working at Princetown on Mondays, to perform the essential activities which cannot be carried out by working at home.

If you need to contact us, you can leave a message on our usual number 01822 890646. However, we will only be able to check messages on Mondays, so it may take us longer than usual to respond. DPA staff will, however, be working at home during this period of reduced office opening hours and we will therefore be able to provide a quicker response to emails sent to our address at:

The health and wellbeing of our members, volunteers, trustees and staff are our top priority. We have therefore taken the decision to postpone the Annual General Meeting scheduled to take place on 23rd May 2020. We will provide more details of the rearranged meeting in the April issue of “Dartmoor Matters” and on our website and our social media pages.

We also anticipate that some, possibly all, of our Walks & Events and conservation workdays will be postponed or cancelled. Further details will be placed on the website and social media as decisions are made. Alternatively, you can contact the leader, via the details set out in the Walks & Events leaflet.

We are closely monitoring the daily changing Government guidelines and following their advice  accordingly. As the situation changes, we will be making further announcements. We apologise for any problems which these new arrangements might cause. If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
