The day went well and all three fields were cleared of cut bracken. We were very grateful for help from Devon Wildlife Trust volunteers and had 22 people in total. The bracken had been cut with strimmers and scythes the previous week and everyone agreed that it was easier raking this year. The workers were so efficient that we had extended coffee (with cake of course) and lunch breaks. Thank you to all participants.
