With plenty of space for social distancing 11 volunteers carried out a variety of tasks at Pudsham Meadows.
Photo 1 – With the fence repair team, from 2 ‘bubbles’, there was heavy work with the post rammer (who needs to go to the gym?) and more gentle holding of the rope to keep the fence out of the way.
Photo 2 – Further fence lines were cleared ready for repair, redundant barbed wire removed and dead hedging constructed.
Photo 3 – The bridleway was cleared of overhanging vegetation.
Tree seedlings, saplings and suckers were removed from Pudsham Meadow, walls maintained, the last tree tubes removed from the plantations and the extent of bracken mapped in two meadows.
